“Four Figures and Statue II" (2026)

Acrylic on canvas. Unframed.

39" x 39" / 100cm x 100cm

One central element is the sculpture of a woman, which seems to be a classical figure (perhaps an idealized female form, like Venus). This could reference traditional Western art history, where classical antiquity and its art forms, including sculptures like Venus de Milo, have been revered.

The figure of Venus often symbolizes beauty, love, and idealized femininity, but in this modern context, her rendering within the abstract style complicates her traditional interpretation. The disjointed presentation might suggest a questioning or subversion of classical ideals.

Please be advised, a tray frame would add about an inch to the size of the canvas.

Screen colours can vary among computers, so please be aware that there may be a slight variation in real life. Every effort has been made to represent the artwork most accurately to the original painting.
