“Three Figures" (2025)
Acrylic on canvas. Unframed.
39" x 39" / 100cm x 100cm
This painting feels intimate and psychologically charged. It brings the viewer close to a single figure while still maintaining an expressive, abstracted style. The palette is dominated by cool tones—turquoise, mint green, pale blue—punctuated by the striking red jacket of the foreground figure. This contrast is highly effective: the red doesn’t just stand out visually, it activates the composition, giving the central figure emotional weight and urgency.
Layering creates depth while also reinforcing a sense of isolation—the main subject feels psychologically separated despite others being nearby.
Please be advised, a tray frame would add about an inch to the size of the canvas.
